I began Social Vision Marketing in the spring of 2010 with the vision of helping small businesses to grow through the use of social media.
In 2004, while at the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University, I began my obsession with social media and the latest web trends. I was a very early adopter of Facebook and I love using it as a tool to help small businesses. Although I am highly passionate about social media and design, I also has a wide range of experience with marketing, business development, project management, marketing strategy, and search engine marketing and optimization. As a result, I think I bring an unique approach to every project. I like to take into consideration the whole picture and a company’s business goals to develop affordable solutions.
Because of my deep love for social media, in 2011 I founded the Traverse City TweetUp, Traverse City’s only in-person regular networking event based on social media. I also helped co-found the Traverse City Geek Breakfast, a chapter of the international Geek Breakfast, as a way to bring together the tech-community to discuss topics like social media, digital marketing, design, programming, and ways to better the northern Michigan community.
I’m a self-proclaimed “social media junkie” and I love staying up on tech trends. In my spare time, I love spending time outdoors, volunteering for a local animal rescue, and enjoying all that northern Michigan living has to offer.
