On October 7th, Social Vision Marketing’s client, Silver Leaf Vineyard & Winery, was featured in Michigan By The Bottle’s Tweet & Taste Michigan. It was a virtual wine tasting event taking place on Twitter only. It was a fun evening with bloggers and wine enthusiasts from all over the country enjoying wine from right here in northern Michigan. Forty-five tweeters sampled Silver Leaf’s Pinot Gris, Dry Riesling and Purple Foot wines and shared their reactions, likes, dislikes and more.
This virtual wine tasting is such a great example of a way to use new media marketing and social media to do something unique and make personal connections with customers and potential customers. My hat’s off to Michigan By The Bottle!
