I was fortunate to be included in the Great Lakes Innovation & Technology Report Spring Tech Tour once again! Matt Roush, editor of the Great Lakes Innovation and Technology Report on WWJ 950 CBS Radio out of Detroit, made his annual tech tour throughout the great state of Michigan to find out what exciting things Michigan’s tech companies are doing.
For this year’s Spring Tech Tour, Matt has scheduled a whirlwind of a trip, visiting Sault Ste. Marie, St. Ignace, Hillman, Petoskey, Midland, Bay City, Saginaw, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing before returning to his homebase of Dearborn. During the Traverse City leg of his trip, Matt found that our town is filled with lots of young talent and young tech startups. We may be known mostly for our beaches and cherries, but there’s also a lot of talented companies doing unique and interesting things in Traverse City.
Matt and I chatted about my background in marketing, how business at Social Vision Marketing has been in the last year, and my inspiration for founding the Traverse City TweetUp and co-founding the Traverse City Geek Breakfast!
